Jem And The Holograms Make-Up

This look was requested ages ago, but somehow I had forgotten about it and not written it down! So here it finally is. Right before I did this I wanted to do a look in pink and purple since I recently dyed my hair those colors, and I must say, this look matched my hair pretty well! It's also pretty cool in it's own girly glam shock rock aspect. I love music that often has band members in extravagant stage make-up, so I think that's pretty cool and that inspires me a lot when I go to concerts. So I hope you enjoy this!

How I Do My Hair Huge

Hey! I haven't done a hair video in a while, so when I wanted to do a Jem and the holograms make-up tutorial that was requested, I thought why not do a video along with it where I do my hair my favorite way? So here it is. It turned out pretty big, but I can do bigger, heheh. I'm typing this on thursday right after I've filmed, so tomorrow I'm going to a concert, so I'll probably build a basement for the house on my head. Anyway, hope you find this interesting and maybe even learn something new!

Monster High - Cleo De Nile

This week we're continueing the Monster High series with an easy, beautiful look inspired by Cleo De Nile! Fits well, as I'm going to be Hatshepsut for Halloween / Samhain, and I wasn't completely sure about how I was going to do my make-up. Think I'll go for green eyeshadow, different liner and my usual black brows, but the rest I think I'll keep for my costume! What are you going to be?

Geometry Clown Look

I see make-up as a way of expressing yourself and an art-form. Of course you can use it to make yourself pretty, but to me it's more than just that. And I'm weird, so things I come up with can be weird! That's what this look definitely is. People might think they would never do something like this, but that's usually those people who just use it to look pretty, and don't look at their face as a canvas, like I do. Just wanted to get that out there, this is not a ''beauty'' look, this is a more creative abstract look. Worst thing is, it doesn't even look that weird on me, hahah! With the way I look and act I can basically get away with anything.

Easy Peacock-Inspired Halloween Look

First off I will add the pictures off the clothing I got from OOTD Leggings, since I mention them in the video. Use the code ''Carnivorous'' to get 3$ off your order!

Doesn't it all look great? I'm so excited about them, and will shop more from them in the future. I feel like I've been buying so much clothes lately, I feel like a normal girl, hahah!
Anyway, this week's look is really just a simple and messy one, but turned out really cool! I thought it would be great for Halloween or if you're alternative like me, maybe for a night out or something.

My Skincare Routine Products (Anti-Age, Dry & Sensitive Skin, Atopic Eczema)

Judging by my brush cleaning video, people are more interested in looks than videos like that, so I was a little hesitant when I got the idea for this video. But when I asked on facebook, you seemed to like the idea, so here it is! The video ended up being 22 minutes long, wow. Hopefully it's interesting enough. I'll probably add time stamp links to the different sections in the video in the description on youtube.
I was planning to do a look with some new eyeshadows I had ordered, but the postal service fucked up everything. By the time I realized something was wrong, the package was already back in the US, returned without me ever being notified that it was here (it was in Norway for over 2 weeks, I had no idea). So I've been yelling at them, and now I have to wait until it arrives at the seller's to determine what happens next. It's crazy, I am so mad. Several people I've talked to has mentioned terrible experiences with ordering stuff to Norway too. NORWAY, STEP UP YOUR GAME.
Anyway, I bought 5 new Nivea products for really cheap; most of them my first anti-age products. So I wanted to share that, in addition to what else I use for my dry and sensitive skin - and why not throw in some eczema stuff in there as well.

Here's a handy list of all products mentioned:

  • Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Skin Rejuvenation - Concentrated Skin-Refining Serum
  • Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizing Day Cream (SPF 15)
  • Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Night Cream
  • Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream
  • Nivea Daily Essentials Refining Clear-Up Strips
  • Garnier Cleansing Milk Soft Comfort (Normal to dry skin)
  • Garnier Soothing Toner Soft Comfort (Normal to dry skin)
  • Garnier Moisture Nourish+ (Dry skin)
  • MAC Fast Response Eye Cream
  • Nivea Daily Essentials Pure Cleansing Wipes (All skin types)
  • Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover (All skin types)
  • Biotherm Biosource Hydra-Mineral Cleanser Toning Mousse
  • Human Nature Hydrating Creamy Wash Moisture Boost
  • Human Nature Hydrating Face Toner Moisture Boost
  • Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask
  • Eucerin Sensitive Skin pH5 Skin-Protection Shower Oil
  • Eucerin Sensitive Skin AQUAporin Active Refreshing Lotion

From Ink To Blush - Death (Sandman)

You better enjoy this one! Painting my face white like that was the worst. But I liked the eye look! Though I would do something around those lines sometimes when I go out. So since I've been reading The Sandman by Neil Gaiman the past month or so, I figured I would end my comic book character series with the greatest one of them all; Death. I mean, can any goth girl (or guy, or whatever you are) say that she's not great? I'm pretty sure a lot of goths in the 90's copied her look (much like males would copy The Crow, though that look isn't as flattering nor cool anymore). She's a classic goth beauty, and you can do so much with her look! She looks different basically every time you see her in the comics, and I love it.
So I inspired my look off of what I've seen her wear in the comics, and I guess a little from Siouxsie Sioux as well, cause I've always in my mind pictured them as having similar make-up for some reason. And hey, they're both the biggest female goth icons! There aren't as many of those, I feel (as in, in the actual bands - there are more female goths in bands and in general NOW, but I haven't seen so many from way back when. Please enlighen me if you know of some cool ones! Yes, I know about Patricia Morrison of course.).
Anyway, without further or do, I present to you my interpretation of Death!

Monster High - Abbey Bominable

Hey! I revisit my Monster High series with Abbey Bominable, in a violet, pink and blue color explosion. I'm gonna do a few more in the series, so look out for that in the next couple of months! I have them planned, and of course will space them out with other videos in between.
Selecting the perfect shades for this look was SO hard! I went through my entire collection, and I have many pinks and purples (not so many blues though), and so many were the wrong shades, hahah. But I think I nailed the colors in the end. The overall look I felt looks terrible on me, maybe it'll look better on someone else, but I see this more of a costumy look and not something you would wear for going out. So even though I wasn't happy about how it looked on me, I hope this helps at least one of you out and was maybe even entertaining!

How To Clean Your Make-Up Brushes And Tools (Spot, Deep And More)

Hello! I was bound to clean my brushes (I've been using a lot of colors lately, so I've run out of brushes that weren't clean), and thought I would film it and explain the whole process. I feel I don't do that much on my channel, I just take for granted that people know how to do shit (I for example have now promised my friend Julianne to include how I do my eyebrows in my videos. I know this shit cause I've been interested in make-up for years and have studied both hairdressing and make-up artistry. So please let me know if there is something I need to explain in my videos!

Anyway, in this video I show how to clean your make-up brushes and sponges, and list different products to use. One thing I didn't mention though was that some people use dish detergent for synthetic brushes, which is a thing to consider if your brushes are synthetic (mine aren't). Dish detergents are usually antibacterial, and therefore could be good for synthetic brushes. Do not use it for brushes with real hair, as it will probably make it stiff. Would you use dish detergent in your hair? Exactly. So that's how you should treat your brushes! Most people use baby shampoo and cleansing shampoos, but I just use what I have, which is usually something for dry, damaged or fine hair.

From Ink To Blush - Spawn

I thought I would come back to the series I do on my channel, which is Monster High and my comic book hero / villain one, this. I'm planning to do one more look in the series after this, then I think I'm going to move on to something else. I still have a few characters left that I want to do in the Monster High series though.
So this look is me channeling Spawn. He has a really cool look, so I mostly ended up just copying it. I wanted to incorporate his BADASS cape, but I felt that would ruin the rest, so oh well. Maybe I'll just get myself a cape like that, hahah.
